Governors. Early times of the conquest. Fals. (Fro. I-a) (Codera 9, lámina II). Obv.: Profession of faith ornamented with two stars on left side and two small angles on the upper part. Rev.: Fish in the central area, between a star flanked by a crescent and a waning moon. According to Frochoso the minting of this type is attributed to the mint of Tangier by order of Tarik, on the eve of his passage to the Peninsula between AH 90 and 93. Rare. 3.83 g. EBC-.
